Did you know that faeries have an Earth-life that lasts anywhere from 250 to 300 years? It takes that long for faeries to learn how to shine love and only love on
everyone who needs it, especially sick or sad children. Once a faerie becomes a beam of constant love, he or she turns into an angel and is no longer visible to
Earthlings, except under special circumstances.
A community of faeries lives in my garden. There are boys and girls, young ones, old ones and every age in between. When my husband and I moved to an island in
Lake Winnipesaukee last summer, the faeries decided to move here with me. I was glad they came along because they make me so happy. It's easy for me to see
and talk to the faeries, and children can too. Other adults usually think they're seeing hummingbirds because they don't believe in faeries or pay close enough attention.
Every time one of the faeries shines love on a child, a copper penny magically drops from heaven right into the garden. I've never counted the pennies, but there are
hundreds of pennies from heaven in my faerie garden. That's why it's a sacred, healing place.
